Summary: Document Processing and Upload Workflow

  1. Pick the Document from POS:
The first step involves retrieving the relevant document from the Point of Sale (POS) system. This may involve accessing various files or forms associated with a customer transaction or request.
  2. Index the Document:
After retrieving the document, it is indexed for easy reference. Indexing typically involves assigning metadata to the document, such as a title, date, customer details, and other relevant identifiers to facilitate quick searches and retrieval.
  3. Change Naming Conventions:
The document's name is then standardized to follow a specific naming convention. This ensures consistency across all files and makes it easier to manage, track, and retrieve documents in the future.
  4. Pick the Paystub for Income Calculation:
The paystub, often used to verify income, is selected from the documents available. The income information is extracted from the paystub to calculate the applicant's earnings, which might be needed for further processing or decision-making.
  5. Index the File Document:
The processed document, including the paystub and any related information, is then indexed properly, ensuring that all key data points are captured for later reference.
  6. Upload to the LOS (Loan Origination System):
The final step involves uploading the indexed document into the Loan Origination System (LOS). This system helps automate and manage the loan process by keeping all necessary documents in one secure location, ready for review and approval.

This workflow ensures the smooth retrieval, processing, and indexing of documents, particularly income verification documents, while maintaining consistency and organization in the document management system.
